Evidencing Engagement and Impact
Tools and techniques to help researchers effectively incorporate evidence collection for engagement and impact into their work
How it works
The programme is designed to offer a personalised training experience with the flexibility to learn at your own pace and on your own schedule.
Taking a coaching-style approach, a series of short films guide you through the topics with a workbook and practical, reflective exercises to help you put what you have watched into practice and apply it to your own research.
Access is provided for 8 weeks and on average it takes 3-5 hours to complete each course, or the equivalent of a half-day workshop if completed in one go.
Optional weekly progress reminders help to keep you on track and you get a completion certificate when you finish.

In this short video, Saskia Walcott explains how the training works, what to expect and how it supports researchers in developing the skills, mindset and confidence to embed impact into their projects from the outset.
“I really like the tone of the course. You can hear Saskia's voice throughout and that adds to its accessibility.”
“One of the things I like about Impact Integrators is that it breaks down ideas you think you know and forces you to reflect on them, which often brings new things to light.”
